Welcome to Bourbon & Bling 2022

Join the Westfield Education Foundation as we warm up and raise funds with a premium bourbon raffle. Participating in the raffle gives you the chance to win some hard-to-find bottles of bourbon. Our Bourbon & Bling Raffle has some extra sparkle this year with a rare collection and a classically chic Phillips House Infinity necklace.

Bourbon & Bling Event
December 14, 2022

New for 2022, Bourbon & Bling. Wednesday, December 14, 2022, from 6 PM - 9 PM at Moyer Fine Jewelers. This event is limited to the first 150 guests. Your ticket includes appetizers, cocktails, bourbon/wine tasting, a silent auction, a $100 Moyer Fine Jewelers gift card, and a little magic to support the Westfield Education Foundation. We anticipate the event to sell out. Event tickets are $100 each. Dress is Holiday Attire.

The Bourbon & Bling Raffle will be held at 8:15 PM at the event. Tickets for the raffle can be purchased in advance. You do not need to be present to win.

Lot # 1 - 8 Blanton’s Single Barrels. Spelling B-L-A-N-T-O-N-S

Full complete set of 8 Blanton's Original Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey. There are eight different stopper designs, each with a different letter of the alphabet molded into it and topped with a figurine of a racehorse and jockey. When placed in order, spelling “B L A N T O N’ S”, the horse and jockey’s poses display eight different scenes of a horse race, from standing at the gate, to crossing the finish line with a win.

Lot #2 - Van Winkle 12 Year Lot "B"

Pappy Van Winkle's Family Reserve is the flagship brand of bourbon whiskey owned by the "Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery" company. It is distilled and bottled by the Sazerac Company at its Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky.

Following up on last year’s Boss Hog VII release “Magellan’s Atlantic” comes at us in the form of an ultra-aged rye whiskey finished in Philippine rum casks. The lore behind these releases tells us that this year’s Boss Hog is the conclusion of a trip around the world.

William Larue Weller developed his original bourbon recipe with wheat, rather than rye. Lot # 5 - Colonel EH Taylor - Single Barrel

The aroma carries lightly toasted oak, with dried figs and butterscotch. One sip brings flavors of sweetness balanced with tobacco and dark spices. The finish is just long enough to prepare the palette for another sip. The bottle itself is a likeness to Colonel Taylor's original design used over a century ago.

This duo includes Hugh Hamer Finished Bourbon & The Straight Bourbon Grand Opening Bottle.
Hugh Hamer Finished Bourbon (Double Oaked) Will treat you with charred oak and subtle cinnamon preceding oak scent and cherry and spicy cinnamon on the palate. Pepper, leather, and pleasant dry oak round out this bold, barrel-finished bourbon.

Westfork Whiskey Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Grand Opening Blend
This special edition bottle contains a blend from their finest bourbons.

Lot # 9 - Calumet Farm 15

Calumet Farm Single Rack Black 15 Year Old Bourbon Whiskey is the pinnacle of the Calumet Farm Bourbon family. It represents the premium quality our brand is known for, as well as the hard-earned badge of patience. Allowing our bourbon to age slowly in Kentucky-only rick houses is a testament to doing things the right way - the way bourbon should be done. All barrels used to craft these rare batches are aged in a single, center cut rack. This expression of the Calumet Farm Bourbon family is our most aged and highest proof to date. It is Non-Chill Filtered for added depth of character and color.

Lot # 10 - Sweet Wheat 1792

Crafted with sweet and delicate wheat instead of the more traditional rye, this bourbon is quite distinctive from most. The soft wheat delivers a subtle and smooth taste with gentle layers of flavor. Each sip expresses a harmony of sweetness and dryness.

Lot # 11 - Elijah Craig Single Barrel 1789

Bottled solely from the contents of one expertly chosen barrel, this expression of Elijah Craig is the pinnacle of Bourbon craftsmanship. Bold, robust, and incredibly complex, 18-Year-Old presents a rare and unique opportunity to sip some of the oldest Bourbon in Kentucky.

Lot # 12 - Knob Creek 12 Year

Knob Creek Small Batch Bourbon is one of four bourbons that comprise Jim Beam’s Small Batch Bourbon Collection. The others are Basil Hayden’s, Baker’s Bourbon, and Booker’s Bourbon. Knob Creek 12 Year was originally positioned as a limited edition bourbon when it was released in late 2019. Since its initial release, Knob Creek 12 Year now joins Knob Creek 9 Year, as part of the standard Knob Creek small batch lineup.

Lot # 13 - Four Roses Private Tour Collection

You’ll want to savor the taste of this premium Single Barrel again and again. It’s complex, full-bodied and surprisingly smooth with a delicate, long finish that’s unbelievably mellow. Drink straight up or on the rocks. 100 proof. 50% alcohol/volume.

Lot # 14 - Willett Rye

The barrels that went into this small batch combined to make an amazing drinker.
Nose- Beautiful layering of brandied cherry over a mildly tart cherry. It opens up with time and is reminiscent of cutting into your dessert with your fork which releases cinnamon and baking spices with just a hint of oak to remind you that this is high proof youthful.
Palette- A robust rye with dark cherry, burnt vanilla, and spices for days. It's a delicious rye with a weighty mouthfeel.
Balance - It's insanely well balanced with the alcohol so perfectly integrated at 115 proof you'll forget its there, but you'll find yourself smiling more and happier with each dram.
Finish- the finish is long and the spices dominate this batch, while the cherry does punch its way through to the surface.

Lot # 15 - Horse Soldier

Created by Veterans. With the slogan, “We have dedicated our lives to service. Our team has been involved in every major conflict since the Vietnam war. Our next mission is to serve Horse Soldier Bourbon, our legacy in a bottle.”

Traditional straight bourbon made from small batches of 2-4 year old whiskey. Double gold medal winner at the 2019 San Francisco World Spirits competition. Horse Soldier bourbon is non-chill filtered to provide a full-bodied and decadent finish.
