Our Student Leaders
A Chance To Serve (ACTS) is a youth leadership program that prepares students to make a meaningful impact in their community. Freshmen and sophomores from local high schools participate in five full-day leadership training sessions focused on communication, servant leadership, philanthropy, and collaboration.
After completing the program, students are selected to serve for one year on local nonprofit and community boards, gaining hands-on experience and insight into how boards and organizations operate.
Established in 1999, ACTS—through Purdue Extension Hamilton County—has been developing confident, engaged young leaders for more than 20 years.
